Still not sure if I'll break it down into several stories given it's length but here is a snipit from it. It's still a draft so there will probably be changes to this part.
Greg tucked the small box into his jacket pocket as he climbed into the passenger section of the limo looking almost giddy. Hailey shut the door and then climbed into the driver’s seat and soon they were off navigating the evening traffic. “So, what did you get her?”
Greg smiled, “Ta’charin Sapphire earrings.”
Hailey whistled softly, “Nice, you lucked out.”
Greg nodded still looking excited, “Yeah, cost a bundle but it was worth it. Trust me, a rebellion Captain doesn’t earn as much as people think we do.”
Hailey laughed, “You should get a residual for all the PR they put out with your face…now what is this?”
Greg looked out, seeing two police officers directing traffic. Hailey slowly pulled up as one of them pointed to her and then a side street. Hailey shook her head and rolled down a window. One of the officers quickly walked up to the window. “We got a multiple vehicle accident ahead, you’re not going to fit through there.”
Hailey grimaced, “That bad?”
“Tractor trailer, shouldn’t have even been in this zone.”
Hailey nodded as she rolled her eyes, “Good luck with that.”
“Yeah, thanks it’s quite the mess.” The officer stepped away and Hailey carefully navigated onto the side street rolling up the window. “This is going to delay us a bit.”
Greg shrugged trying to relax but he couldn’t shake the feeling something wasn’t right. “What did he mean about not supposed to be in that zone?”
“This area is a small transport zone, too many narrow streets. It’s unusual but it’s happened before, normally some new ‘hotshot’ guy who thinks he can shave a few minutes off his time.”
Greg nodded as she continued, “This takes us though a rougher part of the city but this time of night it shouldn’t be a problem.”
Greg buckled himself in as Hailey navigated though the narrow streets, after a minute or too he noticed Hailey looking to the left and then cursing under her breath as he felt the limo stop it’s turn and continue going strait. The hairs on the back of his neck rose. “What’s up?”
“People parking like idiots. That’s the third turn I couldn’t take.”
Greg immediately started looking around trying to remain calm as the realization hit him, “I think we’re being herded into an ambush.”
Hailey’s fingers gripped a little tighter on the steering wheel, she wanted to dismiss his comment to paranoia, but she was too well trained to ignore the signs, no one was out on the street. This time of the evening it would normally still have plenty of people milling about. She quickly flipped the com onto speaker, “Dispatch this is car 33, coms check.” Static was the only response. “Car 33 to dispatch, coms check.” Hailey grimaced as she started speeding up a little bit. “Shit, you buckled in?”
Greg quickly double checked his safety belt. “Yep.”
“Hang on!” Hailey floored it, skidding slightly to the right as she did so. He reflexively reached to where his blaster would normally be, cursing as he remembered that as a civilian he wasn’t allowed to carry on Ta’charin even though he was licensed in the U.R.F. to carry. “You armed?”
Hailey nodded reflexively, “In a fashion, I’m a metta.”
Suddenly two shadowy figures suddenly peeked over opposite rooftops nearby and fired some sort of rockets. Hailey spotted the flashes swerved violently to the left as the first one exploded into a shower of cascading electricity right beside the limo causing the electrical systems to flicker. The second one hit the front right emergency wheel well, jamming it as the rocket detonating. A cascade of blue arching electricity enveloped the limo as it’s electrical systems fried.
“E.M.P. rockets! I’ve lost control!”
The limo dipped sharply and continued in the direction of the swerve as the repulser emitters flared out and stopped. Hailey had no time to wrestle with the controls as the limo hit the road at an awkward angle. The emergency wheel would have normally helped but with it jammed the limo began flipping at the impact point and rolling twice before it came to a sliding stop, smoke starting to wisp out of the underside of it. Seconds later an unmarked van screeched around a corner ahead and speed down the street and accelerated toward the limo skidding to a halt a few feet away from the limo. It’s two side doors slid open and four men with hoods and masks carrying energy rifles piled out.
“Frack man, they wanted him alive!”
The group quickly ran up to the limo and forced the passenger door open. Greg hung from his safety belt trying to get the release to work trying to figure out how to get out of this situation. He could see Hailey hanging loosely from her belt, hopefully unconscious.
At the hotel Sonya had just finished getting ready, cursing at herself slightly for taking so long. Tolique had made an amazing dress for her and she didn’t want to ruin it. As she looked at herself in the mirror when she heard Greg’s concerned voice in her head. <Sonya, we’re in trouble. Limo has crashed.>
Sonya ran to the closet and nearly ripped the door open to get to her PR Uniform and the HUD glasses that were a part of it. <Where are you?>
<Don’t know…there’s a white van, at least seven hostiles…>
One of them raised his rifle up and fired at Greg just missing him. Another one looked surprised, “Idiot, stun him already!”
The man who missed fired another shot, and this time hit Greg with the stunning bolt right in the chest. Greg suddenly hung limp in his belt as one of the men pulled out a knife and quickly cut him out of the belt as the others kept him from falling. They quickly dragged him back to the van as sirens could be heard. “What about the driver?”
“The cops are on their way leave her!”

Punching Normals with Super Strength or Speed
So surfing YouTube I found these videos of ballistic dummies getting hit with a high speed bowling ball and heavy rounds. When watching I could just imagine the impact results from a super strength or super speed punch could in fact be similar to what happens in these videos to normal people. Makes it even scarier to think about the carnage that would happen when Sonya assaults a ship. I have a new desktop...
So a couple of weeks ago I ordered a new custom desktop from Xotic PC and it finally came in on Monday. It took a couple of evenings to get everything I needed copied over from my old laptop. Below is technically the second render I did with it. This render would normally take at least couple of hours to run on my old laptop with the setting I had on it, on the new desktop it took less the 20min to run. Hopefully it will allow me to do more rendering and even start taking commissions if people are interested.
The Operation: Downfall Comic is finally live!
The Operation: Downfall Comic is finally live on my Gumroad! Should it end up being a success I will endeavor to make more comics at hopefully a quicker pace. ;) The Regular Edition (67 pages) is $6 https://gum.co/TyqrX The Deluxe Edition is $10 and also contains the high resolution render images with no text: https://gum.co/kPNxI I have a preview here:
Commissions are now Open 4 Slots Available
Alright I’m going to try to do some commissions to bolster my funds. Given this is my first time doing this I’m going to limit it to 4 slots and I’m also taking some pointers from *Lady-Quantum (https://www.deviantart.com/lady-quantum) ’s commission guide.
These slots are for single character renders with background and objects. The base cost will be $25, I say base cost because while I have a lot of clothing and morphs, but my inventory is not unlimited. If I don’t have the clothes and or props needed, I will give the commissioner choices based on what I can find and if acceptable the cost will be added to the commission price, otherwise we
